Dieback is a general term describing a widespread long-term decline in tree health. It may be caused by a range of factors but has widely recognisable symptoms.

Many trees and forest remnants in south-eastern Australia suffer from dieback.

Greening Australia have created a great factsheet explaining the causes and symptoms of dieback and what landholders can do to manage and prevent it.
