The Basin Champions Program offers students from year 4 to year 9 the opportunity to link up with Murray-Darling Basin Authority experts through videoconferencing and investigate the health of a river or creek near their school. Students will learn how the health of their own community can have an effect on the broader Murray–Darling system through their local waterways. Participants can choose their own investigation topic or develop one with the support of the MDBA education team.
The 2014 program will be run for primary schools in term two and secondary schools in term three. Download general information packs below:
