The initial 25 Years of Landcare crowdfunding trial on Pozible is now complete, with 11 projects - from nest boxes for owls in Byron Bay, to training tribal forest wardens in the Philippines, to researching bittern conservation right here in the Murrumbidgee - being fully funded. Some projects even exceeded their funding targets, meaning the groups running them can achieve even greater outcomes.
The Landcare and Environment platform on Pozible [1] is now available for any Landcare group to use to crowd-source funding for your next project.
The first 25 projects are still available to read about, and are a great indicator of the sorts of projects it's possible to promote via Pozible, as well as the best ways to present a project for crowd-funding - so head on over and be inspired!
