African lovegrass is moving into the Yass district - a tussocky noxious weed that can aggressively invade vast areas of productive farm, residential properties and public land. It is a ‘Weed of National Significance’ which decreases grazing productivity due to its high growth rates and competitiveness. Learn how to distinguish African lovegrass from native lovegrass. Hear about effective control methods, especially on the Monaro where African lovegrass has been an increasing problem over many years. Biosecurity issues such as the spread of African lovegrass seeds on roadsides will also be covered.

FREE Morning Tea and Lunch will be provided

RSVP by Tuesday 10th November (for catering numbers): Phone: Rebecca Widdows (02 6118 7706) or Email: rebecca.widdows@lls.nsw.gov.au [2]. Please advise Rebecca of any dietary requirements.
