A free community event will be held in Griffith run by Chris Tzaros of Birds, Bush and Beyond, an ecologist and expert on the Turquoise Parrot. This will be a great opportunity to learn more about Turquoise Parrots and the project that is now underway in Binya and Cocoparra. The event will include a presentation on Turquoise Parrots followed by a walk in the Binya/Cocoparra bush to try and spot one or two parrots, and to see some of the nest-boxes that are in place.
