A lot has been happening in the Australian beef industry of late – from record production to record prices. We are also seeing some seismic changes in global beef trade with new market access arrangements, large exporters deciding to stop exporting and political turmoil. All these will have a bearing on Australian beef producers but what will the effect be? And in such a volatile market how does the Australian cattle producer plan for the future?
Holbrook Beef Group has invited Angus Gidley Baird, Senior Analyst, Animal Proteins at Rabobank, to discuss these emerging issues at its annual Beef Dinner.
