Local Landholder Case Studies - Booklet released
A new booklet has just been released, containing case studies of 20 landholders involved in Murrumbidgee Landcare's project "Cross property planning to balance production and conservation".
Each landholder talks about their experiences with natural resource management, and how they integrate production and conservation on their properties. The stories are all complemented by stunning photographs, and helpful tips for successful NRM work.
The landholders featured in the booklet are from the Kyeamba, Humula-Tarcutta, and Junee-Illabo-Bethungra regions. With property sizes ranging from 250 to 4,000 hectares, and farming enterprises including cattle, sheep, cropping and fodder, there are a variety of stories and experiences included. You are sure to enjoy reading about what these landholders have done on their properties, and their stories may even inspire you to try something new on your own property!
