NRMA Insurance Community Grants

Each year NRMA Insurance gives Community Grants to aid community projects throughout NSW and the ACT. The NRMA Insurance Community Grants program helps to support organisations that are committeed to making our community safer, particularly in the areas of crime prevention, road safety, emergency readiness and response and the environment.

Applications close 31 March 2009.

Who can apply?

Organisations that are committed to making our community safer, particularly in the areas of crime prevention, road safety, emergency readiness and response and environment may apply.

Who can't apply?

Individuals and for-profit organisations are not eligible to apply for funds through the NRMA Insurance Community Grants program

What will be funded?

The NRMA Insurance Community Grants Program gives preference to applications that:

  • clearly demonstrate how teh project relates to increasing safety or improving sustainability in one of the following areas: crime prevention, road safety, emergency readiness and response or environment;
  • demonstrate a well defined project with clear goals, objectives, outcomes and performance indicators;
  • are realistically budgeted and all resources identified, including sources of additional funding; and
  • emphasises how the grant applied for will provide benefit to the state or local community in which the grant is awarded.
