Resilience project
In many small towns and rural areas throughout the Murrumbidgee catchment, Landcare has been a cornerstone of the community. Landcare groups have provided a forum for sharing information; exploring new ideas; investigating solutions to environmental problems and provided support to have the confidence to change to more sustainable agricultural practices. Along the way, Landcare groups in the Murrumbidgee have completed a huge number of on-ground projects. We want to document and map this history. With the generous support of our partners, EH Graham Centre, we are currently working on our Resilience Project, attempting to document the relationship between resilient communities and resilient landscapes in our catchment.

Have you been involved in Landcare in the Murrumbidgee? How long has your group been going? What projects have you been most proud of? Do you have photos and maps of your group and their projects? This year is the 20th birthday of a number of Landcare groups in the Murrumbidgee. It is important that we record this history now.
