Australian Framework for Landcare
The Australian Framework for Landcare is now released, building on twenty years of achievements, experience and knowledge since the inception of the Landcare approach.
Coral Love, Chair of the Reference Group responsible for developing the framework on behalf of Landcare communities said, “The Framework provides a foundation to base future development and growth of the Landcare approach and strengthen the Landcare movement.
The Framework process has undergone a number of consultations with the Landcare community over the past year and a half and the aspirations in the document belong to the community.
The bar has been set high with a vision for all Australians to take responsibility for the way they live in the landscape to ensure a healthy environment that supports a sustainable future”, she said.
