The deadline for Strategic Partnership 2015 grants delivered through Riverina LLS is Monday 13th April. Community Landcare groups are encouraged to apply. One of the requirements of the National Landcare Program is that 20% of funding is delivered to the community for local projects.
Riverina LLS Strategic Partnerships 2015
The Riverina Local Land Services Strategic Partnerships program is aimed at supporting community and industry groups carry out capacity building, educational and other activities with a natural resource management focus.
What sort of assistance is available?
Grant funding to a maximum of $50 000 is available for eligible capacity building activities.
Funding criteria/eligible activities
To be eligible, a project must meet all of the following criteria:
- Project activities must align with at least one of the Riverina Catchment Action Plan goals listed below.
– | Healthy and sustainable productive landscapes | |
– | Diverse and functional natural environments | |
– | Well managed aquatic environments | |
– | Connecting people to landscapes | |
– | Viable and resilient landscape | |
– | Landscapes and enterprises adaptive to change |
- Projects must have a clear project design, budget and work schedule
- Projects must be able to be completed by the end of 2015
- Any on-ground works must be completed within a Local Government area of Riverina Local Land Services
Funding is available for:
- Community participation and engagement in natural resource management including training and skills development
- Revegetation activities including fencing, pest and weed control
- Conservation grazing management
- Conservation actions for threatened species including but not limited to revegetation, fencing and pest and weedcontrol

Applications are to be completed online and submitted by Monday 13th April.
