Landcare Shed at Henty Machinery Field Days - Henty

Pop on down to the Landcare Shed at the Henty Machinery Field Days to see what Landcare have been up to in the Riverina and Murray areas. We'd love you to get involved, volunteer or visit!

This year in our Landcare shed there is a real focus on Sustainable Agriculture and we also have an exciting addition of a collaborative art work which will be “painted” in the shed during the Field Days. We would love you to pop in and say hello!

Also, if you are part of a Landcare Group or Landcare Committee, you are welcome to help volunteer time with us manning the site. We really value the input of the Landcare Community and so would love you to join us for some part of the three days. It is so important that “real people” are able to talk to others about becoming involved in Landcare. Volunteers will receive free entry to the site.

Last year 714 people participated in conversations in the Landcare Shed with 34 staff and volunteer helpers. Topics were many such as Farming Systems, Carbon Climate and Farming, Erosion, Revegetation, Birds and "where to go for help” advice.
