Future weather and climate for inland NSW - Wagga

What does the future of weather and climate look like for inland NSW? What are the trends that we have seen and are likely to see in terms of extreme weather events? Have these questions answered in a live presentation and Q&A session with a Bureau of Meteorology Extreme Weather Expert, Dean Narramore. 

 

 

Ever since he can remember, Dean has had a keen interest and fascination with all things weather and especially severe weather. Growing up in Mildura the importance of rain was a vital part of life in his part of the world, this only helped in growing his passion for weather and meteorology as he grew older. His studies led him to both Monash University and the University of Oklahoma in the United states to study meteorology, where he was lucky enough to chase tornados and has returned almost every tornado season since, to further his knowledge in severe weather.

 

Dean began working at the Bureau of Meteorology in 2011 and has been a severe weather forecaster in the Brisbane office from 2012 until last month, when he moved south to work at the Extreme Weather Desk in Melbourne.
