Boorowa Community Landcare Group, together with South East LLS, invites you to a ‘hands on’ workshop for the home orchardist.
After the tremendous success of previous events, BCLG invite you out to a local home orchard for some practical experience, with expert advice. Rob Fitzpatrick will be demonstrating pruning/propagation/vineyard health and hygiene. If you missed the workshop last year, or if you want to learn more, join us for a great morning.
Heather McLeod & Paul Nelson who have a broad selection of examples in their small orchard in Boorowa, have kindly offered to host the day at their property on the Murringo Rd.
In winter, it's tempting to stay inside where it's warm, but a little bit of effort pruning fruit trees will pay off!
Where: 329 Murringo Rd Boorowa (about 5km West of Boorowa on Young road)
Cost: $10 per person to help cover costs. Includes morning tea.
Bring: Gloves and secateurs
