This Field Day is for farmers who want to improve their farms’ productivity and biodiversity by creating effective shelterbelts.
An experienced team will provide information about the benefits of shelterbelts, based on applied research. Speakers include:
- Michael Gooden, Chair of Murrumbidgee Landcare Inc
- John Hopkins, owner of Allawah
- Dan Florance and Mason Crane, Field Ecologists from Sustainable Farms
- Our special guest speaker is John Broster from the Graham Centre and CSU. John's PhD was focused on the design and characteristics of shelterbelts and their influence on survival of new born lambs.
Location: Allawah (340 Allawah Rd, Illabo, NSW)
