Date:
24 Aug 2018 (All day)
As a partner in the Saving Our Superb Parrot project funded by the NSW Office of Environment and Heritage Saving Our Species program, Boorowa Community Landcare Group is excited to have funds to allow landholders to undertake actions to help save the threatened Superb Parrot.
You must be a member of Boorowa Community Landcare to apply.
Eligible activities include
- Fencing off paddock trees (living or dead) minimum area of 20m x 20m and planting of understorey. Priority will be given to projects that fence off known or suitable Superb Parrot nest trees. Trees that are fenced must be within 50-100m of other trees (dead or alive) and/or woodland
- Fencing off existing box gum woodland which allows strategic grazing management that improves overall habitat quality.
Please complete and return the EOI form and submit together with a map of your project proposal to landcare@boorowa.net by Friday 24th August 2018.
