The 2010 CANFA (Conservation Agriculture and No-till Farming Association) conference will be held on 16 September 2010 at Wagga Wagga.
The theme is A-Z of No-till Farming - A bit for everyone.
One of the topics addressed at this year’s Conference in Wagga Wagga, at Joyes Hall, Charles Sturt University campus will be how to maximise the benefits and limit the problems associated with a stubble retention system. The program contains a great list of overseas, interstate and local speakers and their talks should be of great interest to all.
Topics include disc planters, herbicide incorporation - discs vs tynes, the latest review of world grain markets, cover cropping, precision agriculture and presentations from CANFA's 2009 Conservation Farmer Of the Year and a local no-till farmer.
